Research Triangle Park, NC (19 May 2005) -- ISA President Don Zee announced today that Rob Renner, Executive Director, has announced his resignation to pursue a unique opportunity in the water sector as Executive Director of the Awwa Research Foundation.ISA has benefited significantly from the leadership and insightful views of Mr. Renner over the past 12 months. He has been instrumental in helping the Society focus on critical issues to automation professionals. During Mr.
Renner’s tenure, the society has initiated numerous exciting projects, including effectively communicating ISA’s message to the automation profession, reinforcing the global nature of the Society, reinvigorating InTech and ISA conferences, enhancing the excellent technical training and certification programs, and expanding the standards development and implementation activities of ISA.A transition plan is in place to assure that ISA continues on its path to success while a new Executive Director is recruited.
