ISA Wireless Conference July 23-24 in Vancouver

"Wireless Solutions for Manufacturing Automation: Insights for Technology and Business Success," will be held 23-24 July 2007 at the Marriott Vancouver Airport in Richmond, BC, Canada.

Research Triangle Park, NC (April 19, 2007) - ISA will hold a two day conference entitled "Wireless Solutions for Manufacturing Automation: Insights for Technology and Business Success," 23-24 July 2007 at the Marriott Vancouver Airport in Richmond, BC, Canada. The two day program provides enterprise management and senior technical personnel with business insights into the current state of wireless technologies for manufacturing and control systems. It is intended to facilitate understanding of the technology issues and business considerations that underlie effective decisions on when and where wireless solutions in the industrial environment are appropriate.

Program topics include:

  • Overview of wireless technology
  • Current state of commercialization of wireless solutions
  • Current state of standards for wireless solutions
  • Making the business case for implementing wireless solutions
  • Case histories of wireless implementations Industry expert speakers and presenters are expected, with announcements to come.

A tutorial will precede the conference on 22 July 2007 for those attendees that wish to have a more in-depth understanding of wireless technical issues.
