March 17, 2016 - On March 1st the ISA100 Wireless Compliance Institute hosted an End User Conference with a general focus on ISA100 Wireless Applications, and a track focus of ISA100 Wireless for Safety Applications.

Registrations quickly filled up and the event was standing room only.

Attendees learned how ISA100 Wireless applications, including safety applications, are currently delivering value in real world use cases. ISA100 Wireless' flexibility was another topic of great interest to attendees. The "ISA100 Wireless for Industrial Control Applications" presentation showcased use cases in which ISA100 Wireless' flexibility enabled otherwise unfeasible wireless control applications.

The "Wireless Gas Detection Systems in the Context of Safety Critical Applications" presentation showcased how the ISA100 Wireless architecture enables SIL capabilities, and the use of the Profisafe protocol, with real world use cases.

ISA100 Wireless' reliability was the subject of two research studies conducted by End Users and presented to attendees.
