Jervis Webb names Gerard Gonos Director of Manufacturing

Before joining Webb, Gonos served as a turnaround and restructuring specialist for a major carbon materials manufacturer.

April 12, 2011 - Jervis B. Webb Company named Gerard Gonos as Director of Manufacturing. In this role, he is responsible for leading all aspects of Webb’s manufacturing processes and operational improvements. Gonos has more than 22 years experience working in the manufacturing industry. Before joining Webb, he served as a turnaround and restructuring specialist for a major carbon materials manufacturer.

Gonos also served as general manager for several Tier 1 automotive suppliers, where he oversaw manufacturing, quality, and lean initiatives. “Gerard’s experience in leading change, improving operational performance and strengthening competitive advantage will be a great asset to Webb’s team,” said Lon McAllister, Webb’s Vice President of Operations. “Additionally, his broad expertise in plant operations, lean manufacturing implementation and new model program management will contribute to our future success.” Gonos received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from GMI Engineering and Management Institute, presently called Kettering University, in Flint, Mich. He is also a certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
