September 13, 2011 – Kaoru Sonoda joined exida as partner/principal engineer. Sonoda brings more than 30 years of professional experience, most recently serving as Digital Solution Group manager for Yokogawa Electric Corporation. “I am pleased to welcome Sonoda to exida,” said Rainer Faller, CEO, exida GmbH. “Japan is an important country for exida, and his experience will be very helpful.” “Sonoda has a strong background in instrumentation design and functional safety certification,” added Dr.

Sonoda received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Meiji University.
