Kavlico announces pressure sensors for furnace applications
P992 and P356 pressure sensors provide furnace control suppliers with a device that assists with combustion optimization parameters.

December 15, 2008 - Kavlico developed two high accuracy, low-pressure sensors for pressure measurement applications in next generation modulated furnaces. The model P992 is ideally suited to measure airflow, while the P356 measures propane or natural gas flow. The rapid escalation of energy costs over the past several years has ¡§fueled¡¨ a new urgency to improve the efficiency of commercial heating systems. Kavlico¡¦s high precision pressure sensors provide furnace controls suppliers with a device that assists with combustion optimization parameters making the furnace efficiency jump from 65% to 95%.

P992 Low Pressure Differential Sensor

  • Pressure Ranges: 0-2 to 0-10¡¨ H20
  • Output: 0.25 to 4.5 Vdc linear amplified output proportional to pressure
  • Ceramic MEMS sense element
  • Plastic composite housing
  • ƒnNO mounting position sensitivity
  • ƒnRoHS compliant
  • CE Mark certified and UL certifiedP356 Low Pressure Differential/Gage Pressure Sensor
  • ƒnPressure Ranges: 0.5 to 0-5 PSI gage/differential
  • Output: 0.5 to 4.5 Vdc linear amplified output proportional to pressure
