Bellows couplings for Sendix SIL shaft encoders ensure safe connection between the motor and the encoder.

March 6, 2015 - Kübler releases safety-oriented encoder bellows couplings for Sendix SIL shaft encoders that ensure safe connection between the motor and the encoder.

If the spring element is damaged or gets loose, two internal claws grip the encoder shaft in order to continue ensuring the connection.

To set up a safe and lasting connection, these bellows couplings are made of stainless steel, can withstand high shocks and vibrations, and their wide temperature range of -30°C to +120°C contributes to the reliability and robustness of these bellows couplings.

They can compensate for angular errors up to 3°, radial offset up to ±0.3 mm and axial offsets up to ±0.45 mm. Various standard bore diameters are available, including 10 mm and 12 mm.
