December 19, 2006 - Korenix introduces the new product line JetWave 2410 series for industrial wireless outdoor network applications. The JetWave 2410 is a 2.4GHz IEEE 802.11g/b Wireless Outdoor Access Point that complies with IEEE 802.11b/g standards.
The JetWave 2410 covers a large operating distance for Wireless LANs and broadband internet access with data transferring rate up to 54Mbps. It links two or more separate networks (typically located in different buildings) to create a single expanded LAN quickly, simply, and economically. To accommodate various wireless LAN deployment, the JetWave 2410 supports five modes: Access Point (AP), Point-to-Point Bridge (PtP), Point-to-Multipoint (PtMP) Bridge, Wireless Client, or Repeater. To achieve stable wireless connections by reducing the roaming between APs, the JetWave 2410 delivers not only the high radio output power but also maintaining high signal sensitivity for quality data transmission.
Equipped a robust weatherproof form factor with IP66 protection, the JetWave 2410 allows users for outdoor installation under harsh environment. High Reliable Data Transmission:
With integrated 12dBi flat panel antenna, JetWave 2410 delivers high output power and extends wireless transmission range up to 7 kilometers (JetWave 2410 to JetWave 2410). To build a stable, high-speed network backbone, without wires, in an open space, wireless outdoor bridges reliably link widely scattered stations in all weather conditions, also enable remote branches to send information to the head office, and allow head quarter to contact distanced locations at any time.
Integrate 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology:
JetWave 2410 has an integrated 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) port that allows you to install the device in areas where power outlets are not readily available.
