At EXPO PACK México 2026, KUKA Robotics will showcase its advanced palletizing automation solutions for the consumer goods (FMCG) industry.

SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich., May 12, 2026 — At EXPO PACK México 2026, KUKA Robotics will showcase its advanced palletizing automation solutions for the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry from June 2-5 in México City, México, booth 3456. The company will display its latest palletizing, packaging and intralogistics automation technologies through two live demonstrations, including a fully integrated, end-to-end multi-robot cell. Across both presentations, KUKA will demonstrate how integrated robotics, mobile automation and vision-based software work together to deliver scalable, flexible solutions for modern packaging and FMCG environments.

At the center of the palletizing and intralogistics cell is KUKA’s KR 20 CYBERTECH robot that delivers fast, precise palletizing for a wide range of packaging applications. The cell also features KUKA’s KMP 600P autonomous mobile robot (AMR) that transports the pallets between stations and supports downstream processes. Optimized for modern intralogistics environments, the KMP 600P handles payloads of up to 600 kg and navigates efficiently in tight production spaces for optimal internal logistics and reduced manual handling.

Designed to simulate a real production environment and automation solutions for multi-process systems — rapid pick-and-place, sorting and packing — the FMCG cell includes two of KUKA’s KR DELTA Hygienic robots, KR SCARA and a KR AGILUS robot.

The FMCG bin-picking and intelligent handling cell will demonstrate a fully coordinated, multi-robot system engineered for high-speed part handling and intelligent automation. The process begins with a KR AGILUS robot performing bin picking using KUKA vision systems and software to identify randomly oriented parts. The robot will make real-time decisions for reliably picking and placing items from a bin and onto a moving conveyor.

Once the items are on the conveyor, two KR DELTA hygienic robots will rapidly pick, orient and arrange parts while in motion to demonstrate dynamic conveyor tracking, precise synchronization and cycle time optimization in high-speed applications. The process is completed by a KR SCARA robot, which performs final handling tasks such as sorting, orientation or placement into trays or downstream stations to ensure a precise and controlled end-to-end solution.

Both the KR DELTA Hygienic and KR SCARA robots are paired with KUKA.VisionTech, which enables 2D object recognition, quality inspection and code and optical character recognition to support intelligent, vision-guided automation throughout the system.

As with all the company’s automation solutions, those being shown at EXPO PACK México 2026 are backed by KUKA’s expert service and support for training, complete system engineering and simulation, readily available spare parts, robot refurbishment and more. All of which are easily accessible through the my.KUKA.com site, and KUKA maintains corporate offices and production operations, along with integration partner facilities, conveniently located throughout North America to provide responsive customer service and support.
