The certification establishes a new benchmark for protecting connected manufacturing environments, helping manufacturers strengthen cybersecurity as production systems become increasingly networked.

The iiQKA.OS2 operating system combines KUKA's proven system reliability with enhanced cybersecurity features designed for today's digital manufacturing environments. ISA/IEC 62443 is an internationally recognized series of standards addressing cybersecurity for industrial automation and control systems. ISA/IEC 62443-4-2 defines technical security requirements for industrial automation and control system components. Security Level 2 certification verifies that products meet defined technical security requirements designed to protect against intentional cybersecurity threats from attackers with limited resources and technical expertise.
