March 12, 2018 - L-com Global Connectivity, a manufacturer of wired and wireless connectivity products, announced that it has just released a series of USB 2.0-compliant cables featuring a Type-C, female, panel-mount connector on one end of the assembly.
L-com’s U3A00056-series cables were developed to address applications where a USB Type-C connection is required on a panel or enclosure. These cables feature twisted pair data lines to help reduce crosstalk, 30u gold-plated connectors that stand up to repeated mating cycles and double-shielded cable for superior EMI/RFI protection. They are available off-the-shelf in 0.3, 0.5, 1, 2 and 3-meter lengths.
