April 4, 2010 — Land Instruments introduced the high-speed, high-definition LSP-HD. By combining high-speed scanning and high-resolution optics, it has scanning performance of 1000 data points up to 150 Hz. Featuring a rugged, compact housing and a robust sapphire viewing window, the LSP-HD is identical in form with previous generation LSP linescanners and is compatible with all existing mounting hardware. The LSP-HD is designed to operate in harsh industrial environments and across a wide temperature range. Its market-leading performance, rugged design, ease of installation and use, and competitive pricing make it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, including steel making, glass manufacturing, metals processing and bulk materials handling.

With nearly 20 years of experience in infrared linescanning, Land's technical staff can advise users of the most appropriate choice of scanning head, mounting hardware and software for all types of applications.
