April 7, 2009 - Lantronix appoined Jeff Kost as senior vice president of worldwide sales. Kost brings almost two decades of sales experience to his new role at Lantronix, in which he’ll be responsible for further attracting large enterprise customers. Prior to Lantronix, Kost served 11 years at flash memory data and storage provider SanDisk. There he held several positions, implementing and driving strategic sales initiatives aimed at well-recognized original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), such as Nokia. Most recently, Kost served as the senior vice president and general manager of SanDisk’s Mobile Consumer Solutions Division.

In his general manager role, Kost also spearheaded the sale of all mobile products through retail channels, as well as product marketing and management. “We needed a smart, seasoned sales professional that knows how to lead a sales force and attract and engage large corporations to expand our customer base,” said Jerry Chase, CEO of Lantronix. “We feel fortunate to have someone of Jeff’s caliber join our executive team.” “Lantronix’ innovative products and leadership in the device networking and remote management space were appealing attributes,” said Jeff Kost.

“Coupled with a dedicated team and incredible market potential, I’m thrilled to use my professional experience to propel this remarkable company ahead.”
