October 12, 2018 -- Larson Electronic announced the release of an explosion proof control station. This control station features three drilled and tapped operator holes at the cover and supports several control mechanisms for heavy-duty machines with the use of an emergency stop button, three-position selector switch and pilot light.
The EPCS-PBS-3PS.HOA-PLG is an explosion proof control station that is designed for busy operations in hazardous locations. The control station features an emergency stop pushbutton, three position selector switch and a green pilot light for real-time notifications showing when the control is activated. The three-position selector switch has a manually operated “hand” mode, “off” mode, and automatic “auto” mode. This control station also features a maximum voltage rating of 600V AC.
For push/pull operation, a short, single pushbutton maintained-contact red mushroom head is also available.
The explosion proof control station is made of aluminum with stainless steel parts and has operator nameplates for accurate and proper use of the unit. This is a NEMA-rated control station and is compatible with surface mount configurations. The EPCS-PBS-3PS.HOA-PLG is suitable for grain storage centers, agricultural sites, food manufacturing buildings, petroleum refineries, chemical and petrochemical plants, paint spray booths, and more.
