February 9, 2012 - Logic Beach releases IL-Mini IntelliLogger, a rugged, stand-alone data logger that accepts analog, digital and Modbus transducer and signal inputs. Based on a user defined program, the IL-Mini processes the input signals and stores the results to internal or removable card memory for later download and analysis. While logging, user defined alarm conditions can be detected and local alarm outputs activated. Using HyperWare-II icon-based programming software, the IL-Mini is quickly configured for simple to complex data logging strategies. Conditional logging, inter-channel calculations, alarming and intelligent data collection strategies are all simply implemented in this weatherproof, multi-channel, stand-alone data logging instrument.

The IntelliLogger is simply programmed via the HyperWare-II software which features intuitive drag and drop icon-based programming. With HyperWare-II, simple to complex math, inter-channel calculations, conditional logging, statistical reduction, Delta logging and unlimited other data acquisition algorithms can be quickly implemented. Outputs can be programmed for applications ranging from simple set-point alarming to basic functional control of related data acquisition equipment (samplers, calibration sequences, PLC interface, etc).
With the Modbus RTU Master option, connected Modbus Slave device(s) can be interrogated and used by the IL-Mini in its data acquisition and alarming strategies. These Modbus inputs complement the existing hard-wired I/O capability. The IL-Mini offers four analog inputs which can be configured for multiple bipolar ranges of DC voltage, current or thermocouple input, one Frequency/Counter /Event input and up to 2 outputs.
With its internal battery pack and PSM-4 option, the IL-Mini provides cycled 10, 15 or 24Vdc output for sensor or 4-20mA loop transmitter power from internal batterie.! Additional offered features include a multi-line LCD for real-time value display, removable CF card (up to 10 million sample capability), Modbus RTU Master and Slave and wide ranging input power supply for vehicle applications.
As a rugged, weatherproof test instrument, the IL-Mini is ready to deploy at demanding outdoor test sites, on the production/process floor or in the R&D lab.
