Jan. 5, 2026 – Chengdu Meskernel Integrated Technology Co., Ltd. has released the LDL-S laser rangefinder module, designed to support distance measurement tasks in industrial automation and embedded control systems.
The LDL-S module uses indirect Time-of-Flight (iToF) phase-shift technology to measure distances by analyzing the phase difference between transmitted and reflected laser signals. This approach allows the module to deliver millimeter-level measurement accuracy while maintaining stable performance under different surface reflectivity and ambient light conditions commonly found in industrial environments.
With a measurement range of 0.03 m to 80 m, the module supports both single and continuous measurement modes. Engineers can select automatic, low-speed, or high-speed measurement modes to balance accuracy and response time depending on automation process requirements.
The compact module measures 16.57 mm × 17.03 mm × 7.01 mm and operates at 3.5 V to 4.2 V. It supports TTL-level serial communication and can be integrated with RS232 or RS485 interfaces through external level conversion. The laser output complies with Class II safety requirements in accordance with IEC 60825-1.
The LDL-S rangefinder module is intended for industrial automation applications such as equipment positioning, process monitoring, automated inspection, and embedded measurement systems where non-contact distance sensing is required.
