April 12, 2017 - Operating from a 4:1 input range, the MB1500ERU series, available now from MicroPower Direct, provides 15W of output power in a 1” x 2” case. These units are a choice for board level power applications requiring compact size, a performance envelope and operation over a wide input range (or for use with multiple input sources such as 24V and 48V battery systems).
Fifteen models operate from wide 4:1 input ranges of 9 to 36 or 18 to 75 VDC; providing tightly regulated single and dual outputs of 3.3, 5, 12, 15, 24, ±5, ±12, or ±15 VDC. Standard features include an input/output isolation of 1,500 VDC, line/load regulation and efficiency as high as 90%. All units meet EN 55022 class “A” and include a remote On/Off control input.
The MTBF (per MIL HDBK 217F) of the MB1500ERU series is greater than 1.0 Mhours.
The MB1500ERU family is packaged in a 2.0 x 1.0 x 0.40 inch shielded metal case. The pin-out is industry standard.
Each model is specified for operation over the operating industrial temperature range of -40ºC to +60ºC with no derating. An optional heatsink extends the range to +65ºC.
