September 14, 2012 - The Continental Automated Buildings Association is pleased to announce the appointment of Mike Nager from Metz Connect to its Board of Directors. Nager is Vice President and General Manager of Metz Connect's subsidiary located in Tinton Falls, NJ. Metz is the parent company of BTR Netcom and RIA Connect. Nager has extensive experience in marketing, applications, and sales. He is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) as well as the International Society of Automation (ISA) and was the Director of the ISA Food and Pharmaceutical Industry Division and the Chairman of the Material Handling of America's (MHIA) Integrated Controls Division.
Nager has published several articles and has been a speaker at events hosted by ISA, IEEE, MHIA, and the IPC- the Association of Connecting Electronics Industries. His prior employment was with Phoenix Contact in Harrisburg, PA where he developed the industry management department, a solutions oriented business development group, and ifm efector, a manufacturer of industrial sensors where he ran the application engineering department. Nager holds a B.S. in Electronics Engineering from the University of Scranton.
