With five cable types available and now available in yellow, all applications from standard PVC to robotic cables for 360 degree rotation are covered by the new connector systems. The new range of cables brings the latest IP67 technology, guaranteeing a safe connection every time. All Murrelektronik M12 connectors can be connected with the Click-n-Lock tool.
A quick and secure connection is made simple with this tool. With one turn you have a guaranteed seal that brings you a connection you can trust with no room for error. The connector provides a visible indication of the connection followed by an audible click indicating the seal is secure. The slim design of the tool has the added benefit of facilitating connection and disconnection even with fully loaded distribution boxes. This new system works with all Murrelektronik cord sets and all standard M12 distribution boxes.
The flexible, structured, and standardized cord sets cover the following five cable environments:· Cable Type 1 PVC-for use in normal environments: low to medium mechanical demands like packaging machines, assembly, and production lines. · Cable Type 2 PUR/PVC- for the robust environment: flexible cable for higher mechanical demands, inside or outside; used in handling and packaging machines.· Cable Type 3 PUR-UL/CSA- for demanding areas: control cables for use in extremely demanding areas like machine tools, swivel tables and metal cutting manufacturing (with UL and CSA approval). This cable type is halogen and PVC free.· Cable Type 4 PUR- drag chain cable- control cable for use in extremely demanding areas, especially designed for application in high-motion drag chains.
