March 1, 2011 - Mustang announced that Curt Watson has joined Mustang's executive management team as senior vice president of Global Business Development and Marketing. Watson will provide global and domestic leadership of Mustang's business development and marketing efforts. In this role, he will provide direction in establishing best practices and coordinated approaches to key customer accounts on a worldwide basis, enhancing the ability to win work. "Curt is widely known and respected throughout the engineering and construction industry and has been highly successful in leading efforts to win projects around the world with both major oil & gas companies and national oil companies," commented Steve Knowles, Mustang president.
"We look forward to the contributions he will bring to Mustang as we expand our global reach." Watson has over 30 years of engineering and construction expertise in the oil, gas and chemicals industries and most recently served as vice president, projects, in the Oil, Gas and Chemicals Division of URS Corporation (Washington Group). He has held several senior level roles both in business development and project execution during his career, both as an engineering and construction contractor and on the owner side while with Vista Chemical and Union Carbide. He has served on various committees of CII (Construction Industry Institute), and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from University of Maryland.
He is a registered PE in Texas, Maryland, Louisiana, Wyoming and Pennsylvania.
