At the VDMA Robotics DepartmentAl Meeting, which took place online during the general meeting of the VDMA Robotics + Automation Association, a new board was elected on a regular basis for the period 2021-2024. Volker Spanier was confirmed as Chairman of the Management Board. After a sharp decline in sales last year, robotics is in a positive trend reversal with a high increase in sales for the current year. Significant application potential of robotics exists in the field of small and medium-sized enterprises and in human-robot collaboration.
