EINDHOVEN, 2 November 2005 – Netherlands-based Nyquist BV, a leading provider of industrial motion-control solutions for machines such as those used in semiconductor and medical-equipment manufacturing industries, is to become part of Bosch Rexroth. With effect from 2005-10-31 the Bosch Group will take over the producer of drive and control technology, Nyquist B.V.
The company will be assigned to Bosch Rexroth organizationally.The achieved sales of Bosch Rexroth AG are approximately 4.1 billion Euros (2004 figures) with 26,400 employees. Under the brand name of Rexroth, the company offers all relevant drive, control and motion technologies: from mechanics, hydraulics and pneumatics through to electronics and the associated services. Based in Eindhoven (The Netherlands) and with branches in Germany, Switzerland, France and Singapore, Nyquist has built up a solid reputation in the motion control arena since the business became fully independent from Philips in 1998.
