Okuma names Brad Klippstein Controls Product Specialist

Klippstein holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and previously worked as a supervisor of CNC control and electrical design engineering.

January 22, 2015 - Okuma America announced that Brad Klippstein has been named Controls Product Specialist. He is responsible for educating and training customers and distributors on the benefits and effectiveness of Okuma’s PC-based, open architecture THINC -OSP CNC control.

Klippstein previously worked as a controls engineer programming and integrating Fanuc 31ilathes and most recently as a supervisor of CNC control and electrical design engineering providing technical and training support to engineering, sales and service.

“Brad has a wealth of experience and knowledge as a controls programming engineer helping customers improve their efficiencies. We look forward to the impact he is going to make for Okuma teaching our distributors and customers how to leverage the advantages of an OSP control,” says Wade Anderson, Product Specialist Sales Manager.

Klippstein holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toledo. He has several years of experience in the manufacturing industry working with machine tool controls, and he will be based out of Charlotte, NC.
