Optek appoints Christopher Clark Application Specialist

Clark will help customers optimize and control their chemical, water, wastewater, power, semiconductor and automotive processes.

GERMANTOWN, WI - July 18, 2007 – optek-Danulat, Inc. has named Christopher Clark, Ph.D. its new Application Specialist, Chemical & Industrial Processes. Clark will be responsible for servicing the chemical, water, wastewater, power, semiconductor and automotive industries for process-scale inline photometry to help customers optimize and control their process.

He will also manage sales initiatives, organize on-site training and be on call 24-hours a day for chemical and industrial related customer support.Prior to joining optek’s team, Clark was Regional Business Manager at Harris Data and has extensive research, leadership and consulting experience in the area of physical-inorganic chemistry.

He obtained a Ph.D. in Physical-Inorganic Chemistry at Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin.Optek is the world’s largest and most successful manufacturer of photometric systems for process automation.
