The videos feature the XD-Indexer, a single axis integrated controller and servo drive and its easy-to-use table based software, MotionSet. Follow the step-by-step instructions and learn how to use MotionSet software to reduce project set-up and commissioning time. Pre-defined ‘load and go’ application templates, ‘drag’ and ‘drop’ I/O assignment and a comprehensive digital oscilloscope for tuning and diagnostics are demonstrated. These software features and others enable quick engineering and commissioning.
Configuration and operation of the XD-Indexer hardware is shown in detail and with many practical examples and thorough explanations. Examples include setting up motion profiles for a rotary table and linear slides. Programming of gearing, programmable limit switches, absolute and relative motion are a sampling of the instruction given. Practical applications of some of the 32 definable independent motion profiles are also covered. With communication from a host controller via Modbus TCP or Ethernet/IP motion profiles can be expanded to an infinite number.
