TWINSBURG, OH –Pepperl+Fuchs’ Fieldbus segment protectors connect nonincendive and general-purpose Fieldbus devices to a Fieldbus trunk. Segment protectors provide short circuit and overload protection for up to 12 spurs. The unit mounts inside safe areas or Class I, Division 2 or Zone 2 hazardous areas. Cable glands are available in plastic, nickel-plated brass and stainless steel, while quick disconnects are available in Mini (7/8”) and Micro (M12) styles with stainless steel or epoxy coated coupling nuts. Other features include a built-in, selectable Fieldbus terminator and LEDs for short circuit indication.
