CALGARY, Alberta, May 22, 2008 Phidgets released the 1127 Precision Light Sensor, which measures human perceptible light level in lux.Model 1127 measures light levels from Moonlight (1 lux) to the brightness of a TV Studio (1000 lux) 1127 can measure light level from 1 lux (moonlight) to 1,000 lux (typical light level in a TV studio), which is fine for most indoor applications

Software Environment

Users can program Phidgets using a simple yet powerful and well documented Application Programming Interfade (API) that is supported under Windows (2000, XP, Vista), Windows CE, Mac OS X, and Linux. Users can write programs in Visual Basic, VB.NET, C#, C/C++, Flash/Flex, Java, Labview, Matlab, ActionScript 3.0, and Cocoa. Phidgets also provides programming examples for all its products to help programmers write their own programs.
