May 1, 2018   – With an adjustable range from 1 to 8 A, Phoenix Contact’s single-channel electronic PTCB overcurrent protection is designed for protecting critical loads. The 6-mm PTCBs can be adjusted specifically to the number of loads requiring protection.

The PTCB can bridge to Phoenix Contact’s CLIPLINE complete terminal block portfolio. It is compatible with standard terminal blocks and accessories.

The adjustable ampere values on each device enable them to cover a range of applications. Users can make modifications even during startup. Users can respond to changes in the application at any time. The product portfolio features two adjustable devices with different nominal current ranges from 1 to 8 A. There are also four devices with fixed nominal currents rated at 2, 3, 4, and 6 A.

The line complements Phoenix Contact’s existing CBM and CBMC lines by providing the same overload protection in a single-channel configuration.
