January 10, 2012 — William Morgan, President of PneumaticScaleAngelus announced the acquisition of OnTrack Automation, Inc. of Waterloo, Ontario (Canada). OnTrack Automation manufactures components, systems and custom engineered solutions for the packaging industry. “We are pleased to announce the acquisition of OnTrack Automation into PneumaticScaleAngelus,” Morgan said. “OnTrack has a 40-year proven history and a wonderful people-centric focus that will complement PSA’s products and culture.
OnTrack’s expertise and experience combined with the Zepf product line will further grow PSA’s position as the global leader in change parts and specialty equipment.” Founded in 2006 but with roots dating back to 1960, OnTrack is recognized as an industry leader in the design and production of rotary and inline bottle orienters, feedscrews, quick-change conveyor parts and custom-engineered components and machinery. The acquisition of OnTrack will result in sales approaching $150 million for PneumaticScaleAngelus, underscoring its position as one of the largest provider of packaging automation equipment and services for the pharmaceutical, household, cosmetic, food, and beverage industries worldwide.
