Process Sensors Corporation introduces PSC-T54L infrared temperature pyrometer
The PSC-T54L is designed for industries including paper, powders, food and ceramics to wallboard, thermoforming, composites and glass.

May 17, 2017 - Process Sensors Corporation introduced its latest self-contained one-color non-contact infrared temperature pyrometer for general purpose industrial applications. This newcomer handles everything from paper, powders, food and ceramics to wallboard, thermoforming, composites and glass.

The PSC-T54L offers two temperature ranges (0° to 1000°C and -40° to 1000°C) and a selection of four fixed optics settings. Dual laser sighting for precision pinpointing of moving targets can be activated remotely via RS-485 communication interface. Its switchable 0/4 to 20 mA linear temperature output signal allows for implementation into existing control and measurement systems.

Equipped with the PSCSpot for Windows software, parameters such as emissivity, response time, sub temperature ranges, transmissivity, data storage and ambient radiation are set by the process operator and adjustable via RS-485 interface, or through an optionally available handheld programming device. PSCSpot enables statistical analysis of real time measurement data and export of the data as text files and Excel spreadsheets. Additionally, there is an integrated report function that supplies customized templates for Microsoft Word and an integrated calculator for computation of optics parameters.
