The German robotics and automation industry expects industry growth of 10% in 2022.
"The order books for robotics and automation are currently well filled and we see a positive investment climate in our important customer industries. With our existing forecast for 2021 of +11%, we are on the home stretch. This means that there is a good chance that in 2022 we will again reach exactly our pre-crisis level of 2019 with an industry turnover of 14.7 billion euros. The prerequisite for this is that the current disruptions in supply chains do not increase significantly," said Frank Konrad, chairman of the VDMA Robotics + Automation Association and CEO of Hahn Automation GmbH in Rheinböllen.
