RTP signs Tyco as rep for UK and MidEast

Tyco Fire and Integrated Solutions UK will become the exclusive Oil & Gas / Petrochemical representative for RTP 2500 SIS in the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, India and Kazakhstan.

March 15, 2007 - RTP Corporation Inc and Tyco Fire and Integrated Solutions UK Ltd.

(formerly known as Wormald Ansul (UK) Ltd. are delighted to announce the formation of a Strategic Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Partnership designed to provide superior systems and service to customers requiring the best Fire and Gas Systems, Emergency Shutdown Systems (ESD), and High Integrity Protection Systems (HIPS).Under the terms of this agreement, Tyco Fire and Integrated Solutions UK will become the exclusive Oil & Gas / Petrochemical representative for RTP 2500 SIS in the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, India and Kazakhstan.Additionally this agreement provides Tyco F&IS UK a global non-exclusive arrangement to be RTP’s preferred supplier for their RTP 2500 SIS with Tyco F&IS UK promoting the RTP 2500 as their preferred solution for Safety & Control Systems.As a part of this agreement RTP’s responsibilities will be to continue its leadership position in the design and manufacture of SIL-1 through SIL-3 safety systems offering the highest availability, highest integrity, and highest degree of scalability in the industry.Sal Provanzano, president of RTP, explained that by combining the technological leadership provided by RTP and the extensive applications expertise of Tyco, users will be provided with the most reliable fire and gas and safety systems available.
