Martin is implementing a digital platform that combines IoT, automation and data analytics to deliver solutions to the warehousing and distribution industries.

July 10, 2019 - SensorThink, a Tompkins International company, introduced Tom Martin as Vice President of Engineering. SensorThink is an IoT platform, application suite and analytics engine built for industrial environments in the Digital Age. Martin has over 25 years of development experience building high performance global teams focused on customer success. As Vice President of Engineering he leads SensorThink’s software development team. Martin is implementing a digital platform that combines IoT, automation and data analytics to deliver solutions to the warehousing and distribution industries.

Before joining SensorThink , Martin was Vice President of Services at Augmentum, responsible for the Eastern U.S. Region. In this role he led multiple develop teams, creating products and solutions across healthcare, telecommunication, transportation, and logistics across many different environments. Also, as Vice President of Engineering and Chief Architect for Vitria’s BusinessWare EAI platform he helped pioneer the application integration space, giving Martin a clear understanding and deep knowledge of what is necessary in SensorThink’s scalable platform and integration solutions.

He received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from DePaul University.
