The TBHS quick-change die clamp now has a mechanical safety detent so the die will not drop in the event of a pressure failure.

Serapid is now offering a new safety option for their improved wedge clamp, the TBHS Escaping Arc Clamp. The clamp comes in a range of sizes from two to 63 tons and has a mechanical safety detent so the die will not drop in the event of a pressure failure. This clamp is well suited for automated systems, where sensing clamp position is required.Proximity sensors are now available for all sizes. Customers can specify one of three different mounting locations on the clamp for the sensors.

They can be mounted parallel, perpendicular or off the back of the clamp.
