October 28, 2012 - Softing announced that Emerson Process Management extended the functionality of its AMS Suite predictive maintenance software application by integrating Softing's line of industry-hardened PROFIBUS interface boards. Softing's interface boards provide AMS Suite with PROFIBUS asset capability needed to access diagnostic information from PROFIBUS DP and PA devices when connecting to third party host systems.
AMS Suite uses predictive intelligence to improve the availability and performance of key production assets, including mechanical equipment, electrical systems, process equipment, instruments, and valves. This integrated family of best-in-class diagnostic software applications enables users to detect plant equipment problems before they occur. From plant management, operations, or maintenance and reliability, AMS Suite gives users the information they need to make informed decisions.
