ROSEMONT, IL, November 2005— Sola/Hevi-Duty today introduced the new S1K Wall/Panel Mount Kit, a permanent mounting solution specifically engineered for its S1K Series Off-line Uninterruptible Power System (UPS). Purpose-built to extend the value and versatility of the S1K UPS, the mounting kit delivers a degree of safety, stability and support not available from lesser quality “off-the-shelf” brackets.

Whether it is used to mount the UPS in a control panel or wall mount, or as an integrated part of an enclosure or a machine, the mounting kit is tailor made to the precise dimensions of the S1K.The S1K Wall/Panel Mount Kit ships in March 2005 with a MSRP of $24 (U.S.), and is available as an option for all five of the models that comprise the S1K Series. Hardware required for installation is conveniently included in the package.

S1K UPS: Multi-Level Performance, Compact Design The Sola/Hevi-Duty S1K Series delivers multi-level protection in a lightweight compact design ideal for crowded offices and workstations. Separate NEMA 5-15R outlets located on the back of the UPS allow for the safeguarding of three critical devices requiring battery back-up, such as a CPU, while a fourth surge-protected-only outlet is for non-critical equipment like a printer or fax machine.

Other important features include data-line surge protection for a phone system or network, step sinewave output, and a DB9 communications port that seamlessly interfaces with Microsoft® Windows®-based PCs.For more information, call toll-free at (800) 377-4384, visit www.solaheviduty.com or via e-mail at [email protected] .
