January 18, 2009 - Standard-Knapp announces that Mike Weaver has been promoted to the position of President and co-CEO; Robert Reynolds has been promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer and co-CEO; and Kevin Catherman has been hired as the company’s new National Accounts Manager.As President and co-CEO, Mike Weaver will represent the face of Standard-Knapp and will oversee sales, marketing, customer relations and the direction of engineering. A 15 year veteran of Standard-Knapp, Weaver previously held the position of Vice President of Engineering, and has held a range of engineering focused and managerial positions in the past.
Weaver has a BSME, MSME from West Virginia University.New Chief Operating Officer and co-CEO, Bob Reynolds, will oversee operations and finance at Standard-Knapp. Reynolds has worked at Standard-Knapp since 1991 in the role of Vice President of Operations. Prior to that, Reynolds held a number of important positions at Ford Motor Company, including Principal Engineer, and served as Director of Engineering and Material Control for Wright-Line, Inc.
Reynolds has a BS from SUNY Buffalo State College and an MBA from Eastern Michigan University.New National Accounts Manager, Kevin Catherman, will be responsible for supporting key strategic national accounts at Standard-Knapp as well as building and maintaining the company’s customer base through national key accounts. Immediately prior to accepting this position, Catherman worked at KHS USA, Inc. as Strategic Accounts Manager. Catherman also served as a Field Service Engineer and Regional Sales Manager at Standard-Knapp from 1998-2003.
Catherman was named “Salesperson of the Year” of the Food & Non-Food Division of KHS USA in 2006.
