30 August, 2005
1 min read

The NEW F3 series of photoelectric sensors from STM (No Fiber Optic) features a small, flat, thin, and robust aluminum anodized housing (IP67) 13.5mm x 13mm x 3mm, epoxy lens with glass cover, visible red light (Micro Spot by STM) and easy to mount with 2 mounting holes (for M3 screws). Through beam, retro-reflective and diffuse modes are offered. A copper wire (1 meter standard) from the sensor with an M8 connector on the end plugs into any STM amplifier. These sensors can be used for part presence, absence, and positioning applications with very high accuracy and repeatability.

Through beam sensing range is 500mm, diffuse range on white non-glossy paper is 60mm. Smallest reliably detected object is 0.05mm. Custom solutions are also available.

Separate amplifier required. For more information visit www.stmsensors.com
