OULU, Finland, June 11, 2026 — Takayuki Mukai has been appointed CEO, effective June 11, 2026, as Specim advances its next phase of global growth by combining its hyperspectral imaging expertise with the technology, capabilities and business platform of the Konica Minolta Group.

Takayuki Mukai joins Specim from Konica Minolta, where he led the Green Materials Business Unit. His more than 20 years of experience with Konica Minolta will support Specim’s ambition to expand into new markets and applications as demand for advanced imaging solutions continues to grow across industrial, scientific and machine vision sectors.
