August 6, 2013 - Tapeswitch releases safety laser scanner with a wide area detection zone at 190 degrees and is easily set to a maximum protection range of 2 meters and maximum warning range of 10 meters depending on the application. Status indicators, located on the front of the scanner, depict a seven segment display and currently selected area and error number in real time.
Mounting bracket options allow both vertical and horizontal mounting. The scanner is compact with dimensions of only 3 13/16“H x 3 9/16” W x 3 15/16” L. The unit is IP65 rated for environmental conditions. The unit has low power consumption. The safety laser scanner provides a high level of safety meeting Category 3 SIL2 PLd Type 3 safety level performance, and offering TUV/SUD, CE, and cUL certification.
