April 28, 2010 – Quatech and Tech Data announce a distribution agreement for Quatech’s networking and connectivity product lines. Tech Data serves more than 125,000 IT solution providers in over 100 countries. Tech Data will inventory and distribute Quatech’s device connectivity and networking product lines. Quatech’s high performance, industrial grade families provide secure connectivity and serial and parallel port expansion via many interface options including Wired and Wireless Ethernet, USB, PCI, PCI Express, Expresscard and PCMCIA. These products are used in a broad number of device connectivity applications including retail point of sale (POS), kiosks, ATM’s, test and measurement, and other industrial applications.
The distribution agreement with Tech Data follows recent news of Quatech’s purchase of SocketSerial products from Socket Mobile.
