The new ebro® EBI 6 transport temperature logger from Dresser Instruments provides a quick, dependable indication of quality for temperature-dependant shipments. With the ebro® EBI 6, there's no need to down load data to determine if transport temperature is within acceptable levels: a quick glance at the LED display gives you all of the information you need to make an accurate decision. The LED makes the inspection process a snap: steady flashing indicates logging within programmed limits (pass); double flash, indicates exceeding limits (fail). A time delay can be programmed during set up to buffer less critical temperature fluctuations that occur during the normal transportation of goods.The EBI 6 temperature logger is rated to IP67 and comes in an ABS housing.
The field-replaceable battery has a life of two years with a 15 minute sampling rate (typical). This new ebro logger allows measurements from –25 to +40o C (-13 to +104o F) and is accurate to +/- 0.8o C with a resolution of 0.1o C via an internal platinum-type 1000 temperature sensor. It has a memory capacity of 4,000 measurements.
The user can choose standard, pre-selected measuring rates or can freely program from 10 seconds to 24 hours with a start/stop function. For more detailed information, the user-friendly QuickLOG software provides a graphic or tabular representation of time and temperature, including over-temperature and delay limits.
