September 27, 2013 - As of October 1, 2013, Toshiba Machine, America, Control Systems Division will transfer all robotic and control business to TM Robotics Americas. The objective is to provide customers with an even greater depth of technical support both pre- and post-sale. Such technical knowledge and experience has been a significant feature of TM Robotics Europe’s track record. With over 20 years of experience, specializing in the supply and maintenance of Toshiba robots, TM Robotics Europe is considered a world leader in industrial robots.
Additional support for TM Robotics Americas will continue to be provided by Toshiba Machine Co., Ltd. in Japan. “We are very excited to continue the excellent work of Toshiba Machine America, and to offer our 20 years of experience to the North American market,” said Nigel Smith, managing director, TM Robotics Europe.
Toshiba Machine Co., America, Control Systems Division has had a strong presence in the North American market for 15 years. TM Robotics Americas will continue to supply and support Toshiba world-class SCARA Robots (including the lightweight, yet rigid THL Series), Cartesian Arm Robots, 6-Axis Robots, Specialty Robots and Controllers for up to 6-axis simultaneous control. The relatively seamless transition to TM Robotics Americas will ensure uninterrupted customer support.
TM Robotics Americas will continue to operate out of the former Toshiba Machine Co., America, Control Systems Division office.
