February 5, 2019 - Tosibox Oy , a Finnish company that offers a secure IoT connectivity solution, appointed the cyber security specialist Pekka Sillanpää as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) on February 4, 2019. Tosibox serves the growing needs of the digitally transforming world by combining security and usability in digital connections.
As CTO, Pekka Sillanpää will focus on driving R&D work and software development, generating growth and sharing his expertise to position Tosibox as a thought leader in its industry. Sillanpää will also become a member of the Tosibox executive management team.
Pekka Sillanpää has previously worked as Chief Technology Officer at the cyber security services company Nixu Oyj. He is also a co-leader at OWASP Helsinki, one of the local chapters of the Open Web Application Security Project, a worldwide community focused on improving the security of application software. Sillanpää holds a master’s degree in Information Technology.
