July 9, 2009 - TR Electronic released posiTRax, a dynamic, laser-based positioning system designed for cranes, rack feeders, carriage systems and other rail-bound vehicles and material handling systems. With easy-to-use software and full compatibility with other vendor’s discontinued systems (such as the ICS-5000), the posiTRax provides for seamless integration.By providing adaptive software that learns crane or vehicle movements and positioning, the posiTRax generates a reference curve to model the correct position. posiTRax provides full closed-loop feedback for up to 4 axes and like its predecessors , provides the ideal solution for fast and safe, synchronous operation.
