October 22, 2018 - TRACO POWER has announced the release of their TPP 15-D and TPP 30-D series of 15 and 30 watt fully encapsulated PCB-mount power supplies.
These models measure 1.65 x 1.14 x 0.85” (15W) or 2.89 x 1.50 x 1.00” (30W).
Compliance to the ErP directive for no load power consumption and UL 62368-1 / EN 60335-1 approval make these suitable for IoT, building / home automation and industrial applications. With a 2xMOPP rating and IEC/EN/ES 60601-1 safety approval the products are also suitable for applied parts in BF rated medical systems.
The TPP 15-D and TPP 30-D families offer eight single output models ranging 3.3 - 48 Vout. Efficiency up to 91.5% and industrial grade components enable a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, with efull-load convection operation up to +60°C ~ +75°C (depending on model) and a working altitude to 5000m. These models feature double reinforced I/O isolation, less than 75μA earth leakage current and Class I / Class II protection.
Safety certifications include IEC/EN/ES 60601-1 3rd edition for 2xMOPP and Type BF medical applications; UL/IEC/EN 60950-1 and UL/IEC/EN 62368-1 for ITE / Industrial applications; and IEC/EN 61558 & IEC/EN 60335-1 for household appliances. All models are EMC compliant to EN 55032 class B and EN 60601-1-2 4th Edition. Reliability of >3 million hours per MIL-HDBK-217F @ 25°C is further demonstrated with compliance to IEC 60068-2-6 (Vibration), IEC 60068-2-27 (Shock) and MIL-STD-810F (Thermal Shock).
