December 2021 - Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, a world leader in engineered polymer solutions that seal, damp and protect critical applications in demanding environments, is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Cook as global segment director, off-highway and marketing Americas segment manager, Fluid Power. In his role, Cook will be responsible for the coordination of all aspects of business development, marketing, and sales globally for Off-Highway and help execute and support the global strategy for Fluid Power in the Americas. Mel Melehes, regional sales director, said, “Michael has been an integral part of the Off-Highway and Fluid Power segments for several years and played a key role in the launches of our AS568 O-Rings and PU product line in the Americas.
His vision and strategy for evaluating target customers and identifying product and service gaps will enable us to globally maintain our focus on the right customers and areas that bring the most value.” Cook has been the Fluid Power Technical Specialist since 2018 and before that was a an Application Engineer at Trelleborg. He went through the Trelleborg Graduate program in 2015-2016 and most recently participated in the Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Talent Program in 2020-2021. Cook has a Master of Engineering Management degree from Ohio University and Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
