Minneapolis, MN–September 17, 2003–TURCK Inc. introduces a new line of 3 and 4-pin M8 picofast Insulation Avoidance Connectors (IAC) for field wiring. The picofast IAC connectors are an easy, inexpensive, and reliable replacement for in-field repairs to damaged molded cordsets. IAC's are designed to provide easy assembly and since no soldering is required, they can also be installed practically anywhere. This "tool-less" design requires only a wire cutter for assembly (no wire stripping is required).

The contact holders are color coded to match standard conductor colors, providing easy, worry-free installation. The IAC connectors are designed to handle 22-26 AWG conductors and are rated for 4.0 A at 60 VAC/75 VDC. The IAC is offered in male or female configurations, with a cage clamp strain relief that provides an IP 68 seal. This makes the picofast field wireable connector a perfect mate for TURCK junction boxes and receptacles.
