January 17, 2007 - Minneapolis, Minn. — TURCK has released a new catalog featuring its rugged DieGuard sensor line. DieGuard sensors are designed for feed, slug, stripper plate and part-out detection applications to prevent double hits and die crashes. In addition to several new product introductions, the DieGuard catalog features enhanced technical information for increased usability, including all dimensions to the thousandth of an inch instead of millimeters. Among the new products are sensors with 3 mm diameter cable for tighter bends in wire troughs and fixtures.
Other products being added are analog sensors with a 4 to 30 mm diameter and flat pack sensors. Unique analog ring sensors and discrete ring sensors with a 100 mm diameter for larger part-out detection are also highlighted. All DieGuard sensors use PUR cable for improved oil and coolant resistance in die applications.
