Key Milestone in Global Implementation Plan Achieved Houston, Texas (October 19, 2006) - ISA announced today that it has been selected by the US Department of Commerce to participate in its upcoming Business Mission to India. The Commerce Department's International Trade Administration will host a U.S. delegation to the India Business Summit November 29-30, 2006.

A delegation of leaders representing approximately 100 U.S. businesses, industries, educational institutions, and state and local governments are among those that have been selected to participate. Hosts in India are the Government of India's Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce (FICCI).

Following the summit, U.S. Commercial Service posts in India have invited select participants in the mission to participate in spin-off missions to key cities. ISA has been chosen to participate in the spin-off mission to Bangalore. "ISA is honored and excited to have been selected to participate in this historic business development mission.

This initiative will serve as the capstone of our country's commercial dialogue with India this year, so we're extremely pleased to be a part of it," said ISA President Ken Baker. According to the U.S. Commerce Department, the mission honors the commitment of President George W. Bush and Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to revitalize bilateral trade discussions.

Patrick Gouhin, ISA Executive Director and CEO, and ISA President Ken Baker will serve as delegates to the mission. "Participating in the summit and spin-off missions will give us an unparalleled opportunity to meet face to face with prospective agents, distributors, partners and end-users of ISA's products and services," said Gouhin. "We've had several active sections in India for many years, and we believe that India is a key market for the automation profession."
